If you're new here from Cohost, then you might like newcomers which is covering the shutdown and providing resources about Dreamwidth. You can introduce yourself in the Friending Meme or find your Cohost friends if you wish. These are also resources you can share with other folks riding the wave from Cohost.

oh, haha, thank you! i'm actually a dw old (my account is old enough to have a learner's permit) but i can pass on the resources to my cohost pals if they haven't found them yet.

People familiar with both Cohost and Dreamwidth are super useful right now, because you can help your Cohost friends learn about using Dreamwidth if this is a platform they want to try out. Lots of Cohost refugees are testing several alternate platforms to see which they like best as a replacement.

Feel free to share anything from newcomers that you think would be helpful, or post ideas over there.
