in order to point a gun at myself to write my goddamn WIPs once I'm back from [situation] I am listing the things I keep earnestly intending to write

• The rest of the chapters of Not Even Into Another Eternity, the hurt/no comfort prequel to Hand in Unlovable Hand, the fic that apparently opened a lot of lesbians' third eye about lesbian OC ships
• The one I haven't named yet that's dreamscape eroguro involving a sharkgirl and a lady who turned herself into a fucked-up jellyfish
• Esoteric astral plane evil snake god/divine nature avatar smut
• Another fic in the series of "Tara asked me to make her suffer so by god I will provide" this time featuring Ch'en Hui-chieh as an unlikely cult leader
• The Real Housewives of the Court of Stars, the warcraft fic that has lived rent-free in my brain for like six years

my WIPs are a secret because if i speak them aloud i feel like i'll jinx myself into never finishing them, but it's the first time i've done fanfic (rather than origfic) in years. i forgot how nervous playing with other people's characters makes me LOL

also good luck!! i was super nervous when I was getting back into writing fanfic and writing not-just-original characters for the first time, but it turned out fine, so I'm sure you'll be fine too!

I told myself this would be the year I study japanese seriously, so I don't have any fics that I do earnestly intend on writing— for now. I have some planned ones for later (maybe, if I'm still interested), would those count for the exercise?

and anyway studying japanese seriously is super cool. I really want to get back on the language-learning train

Studying languages is really satisfying, even if it's hard. It's great to be able to understand more, and to have access to more of the world.

also I am a fool who signed up for an AU writing challenge thing and one of my prompts was: post-apocalyptic.

So now I'm writing an enstars post-apocalyptic one-shot AU in which one of them is a radio host and the other is an instagram model and they're engaging in a mutual parasocial relationship because they fucking suck and are scared of real human connection. I'm super hyped.

someday I will finish the big-long (for me) fic with the accidental sibling incest and sideways worldbuilding but I never have the energy when I have the time or the time when I have the energy.
